Trellix Endpoint 2210 is now available for ePO On-Premise. A separate communication will be sent when Trellix Endpoint 2210 is released to MVISION ePO.
As Trellix continues our exciting evolution, our customers will begin to see our solutions reflect our new name and brand. In this release, we have renamed MVISION Endpoint to Trellix Endpoint. We have also updated with the Trellix company name and Trellix logo. This rebranding change requires no action from you for Trellix Endpoint. The release includes improvements, as well as cumulative fixes from previous updates. For a full list of changes, see the Release Notes.
** Certificate Update **
IMPORTANT NOTE – ACTION MAY BE REQUIRED: This release of Trellix Endpoint contains new signing certificates as part of the continued Trellix rebranding efforts. These certificates are signed by new third–party root and intermediate certificate authorities. If your organisation manually manages deployment of third–party root and intermediate certificate authority certificates to your devices, you will need to deploy the appropriate third–party and intermediate certificates to your devices before using this software. Failing to do so could impact or break the functionality of this software. This is an action your organisation needs to take if you do not leverage automatic root certificate updating options like the one available for Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Please see KB95499 for certificate details and more information about the Trellix rebranding efforts. MsgBus cert update 5.7.7.435 is required as per the referenced KB95958 in the rebranding information.
