Trellix announces the End of Life (EOL) for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Prevent, Monitor, and Discover 11.6.x effective December 31, 2022.
Trellix recommends upgrading to Data Loss Prevention 11.10.200 for DLP Prevent and Monitor (Long Term Support release) or 11.10.300 for DLP Discover (Long Term Support release) to benefit from the latest software developments, and to avoid interruption of product support.

EOL dates have been announced for the following DLP versions. This support statement is provided by the Product Management team.
After the EOL date, we'll no longer support the product version. For the EOL product versions, customers can call in and receive the 'Best Effort' support from the Technical Support team; but, all software fixes will be released on current versions only.
We strongly recommend that customers upgrade to the latest version of the product for continued support. For product versions, see the supported environments articles below:

The DLP products have been rebranded with the Trellix logo and End-User License Agreement. Henceforth, the products will be referred to as shown below:
- McAfee DLP Endpoint is now Trellix DLP Endpoint
- McAfee DLP Prevent is now Trellix DLP Prevent
- McAfee DLP Monitor is now Trellix DLP Monitor
- McAfee DLP Discover is now Trellix DLP Discover
We've removed access to all versions of McAfee-branded DLP software for customer downloads. The Trellix-branded versions that are available for download are as follows:
- Trellix DLP Endpoint for Windows version 11.6.700
- Trellix DLP Prevent version 11.10.200
- Trellix DLP Monitor version 11.10.200
- Trellix DLP Discover version 11.10.300 (version 11.7.200 for SaaS)
Consequently, the McAfee-branded DLP product versions are EOL from December 31, 2022. Customers can still choose to use these EOL products, and we'll offer technical support on a best-effort basis until September 30, 2023.
Should a situation arise that requires fixes for any bugs or vulnerabilities on McAfee-branded software, they'll only be fixed on Trellix-branded DLP versions (version 11.10.x and later), which will require an update or upgrade from your end.
