On July 28, 2023, Trellix released a new Virtual Intelligent Sandbox OVA image for the server with support for the network driver.
Download name: vATD-MIO-5.2_<build ID>_VMXNET.ova
NOTE: The file name at the time of article authoring is vATD-MIO-5_2_0_16-5-c75ac331_VMXNET.ova; this name will change as Trellix releases new packages.

I deployed an old vTIS OVA with E1000 NIC and am currently using it.
Can I upgrade to the new vTIS with VMXNET3 and preserve the configuration and data in my current vTIS setup?
No. You can't upgrade. Redeployment of the VMXNET3-supported OVA is the only supported deployment method.
