This information is for customers deploying Skyhigh Client Proxy (SCP) 4.6 on Mac via Trellix ePO SaaS.
Trellix has published an important update regarding SCP version 4.6 along with other point products that were released at the same time. See the SNS message sent on July 19, 2023.
SCP version 4.6, along with its other associated ePO SaaS products, will move from the evaluation to the production (current) branch in Trellix SaaS ePO on August 3rd, 2023.
To ensure a seamless operation, existing SCP customers are requested to disable auto-updates on all relevant groups and sub-groups. Alternatively, existing SCP customers can upgrade their SCP Client to the latest available version by the above-mentioned specified date. The SCP installation guide will help you to meet the requirements during the SCP update.
Please note that if auto-update is not disabled or if the existing SCP is not updated to the latest version before August 3rd, 2023, users may notice issues during the automatic upgrade process which may lead to incomplete or partial upgrade of the products.
In the event of a partial upgrade, manual deployment or upgrade push will be required to ensure that the SCP client is updated properly.
