Anti-Malware Engine 6700 is Now Available in Beta.
The Trellix Anti-Malware Engine is the core component at the heart of the award-winning Trellix Endpoint and Gateway products. Using patented technology, the Engine analyzes potentially malicious code to detect and block Trojans, viruses, worms, adware, spyware, and other threats.
New Features:
- Normalization support for PowerShell scripts.
- Increased coverage of MIME samples.
- Performance improvement of internal API and vulnerability fixes.
- Multiple bug fixes and minor feature enhancements.
New Supported Platforms:
- Windows 11 23H2
- macOS 14.0 Sonoma (x86-64 and ARM64)
Release schedule (subject to change) for the 6700 Engine:
- Beta – 18th Dec 2023
- RTW – 09th, Jan 2024
NOTE: The above schedule is for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems only. Engine release for other platforms will be communicated soon.
