Trellix: End of life for Active Response

This support statement is provided by the Product Management Team. 

Effective Date: December 26, 2022

As we continue to evolve with new capabilities and introduce new technologies into the market, we've decided to announce the End of Life (EOL) of the Active Response product, formerly known as McAfee Active Response (MAR). Active Response will reach EOL on June 30, 2024 (extended from the earlier date of December 31, 2023), impacting all versions and components of the solution. 

NOTE:

• The Active Response Cloud feature won't be available after August 31, 2023. See KB96711 - Removal of the Active Response Cloud Storage Feature for details.
• Existing Active Response customers can renew support until June 30, 2024.
   

We continue to have leading endpoint technologies and capabilities that can be leveraged for customers seeking to maintain visibility, detection, and response abilities across their enterprise. Trellix can offer a corresponding On-Premise or cloud EDR solution to support our customer's investment. For more details, contact your Trellix Sales Representative. 
  
Existing customers will receive support until the EOL date, in accordance with the Product End-of-Life Support Policy.

• EOL period—The time frame that runs from the day we announce product discontinuation, until the last date that we formally support the product. In general, after the EOL period is announced, no enhancements are made.
• EOL date—The last day that the product is supported, according to the terms of our standard support offering.
