The following Trellix Intrusion Prevention System (Trellix IPS) software is now available:
- Trellix IPS Manager / Central Manager – 11.1.7.71 [Windows, MLOS]
- VM-series Sensors / vIPS – 11.1.7.72 [VM5000, VM600]
- NS-series Sensors – 11.1.5.72 [NS9500, NS9300, NS9200, NS9100, NS7500, NS7350, NS7300, NS7200, NS7250, NS7150, NS7100, NS5200, NS5100, NS3500, NS3200, NS3100]
This release offers new capabilities including the following:
- Gathering of telemetry data for improved insights and more effective protection
- Improved efficacy of zero-day threat detection by increasing the range of files analyzed by IVX
- Improved sensor performance by reducing the number of repeated GTI queries
- Support for multiple IVX broker IPs to avoid a single point of failure
- Reduced VM costs for customers by supporting IPS Manager on KVM in addition to IPS Sensors
- Support for customer deployments in AWS GovCloud with C5/M5 controller instances
- Improved analyst visibility of file risks by displaying file reputation details (malware confidence) of an anomaly from alerts generated by TIE engine
- IPv6-only network support: Integration with IVX using IPv6 address.
