Problem:
On a few machines, some Linux core files are misclassified as Artemis!d41d8cd98f00 and quarantined.
Cause:
The files are misclassified because of an automated generic heuristic detection, resulting in false-positive(s).
The files are misclassified because of an automated generic heuristic detection, resulting in false-positive(s).
Solution:
The files have now been whitelisted, and the GTI database has been updated to prevent any further detections. The files have also been added to the Trellix Labs clean file database to prevent similar detections. For more details about the issue and the remediation, see KB97027 - False positive detection occurs in Endpoint Security for Linux Threat Prevention.
