Skyhigh Security will be making changes to the authentication workflow to provide customers with a unified experience as they access the different parts of the Skyhigh Solution. It will also accommodate recent changes made by Google Chrome (ver 116.0.5845.180) that affect browser caching processes.
As of October 24, 2024, Skyhigh will unify under a single domain (skyhigh.cloud).
Key Skyhigh workflows remain unaffected by this change. The impact of this change is restricted to customers who have configured the End User Remediation capability and those looking to enable API integrations with new cloud services.
Skyhigh Security customers using the End User Remediation or Cloud Service API Enablement capabilities will have an impact as illustrated below:
End User Remediation
- Customers having the SAML configured for End User Remediation workflow with the listed URLs www.myshn.net, www.myshn.eu will need to reconfigure with the updated URLs on the scheduled date, which is October 24, 2024, or the earliest available opportunity after the scheduled date to ensure continuity of EUR workflows
- If customers fail to reconfigure the SAML workflow on the activity day, users would still get the notifications - but the End User Remediation workflow will be impacted as users cannot access the dashboard from the End User Remediation notification emails
New Cloud Service API Enablement
For more details on the above changes, refer to this Documentation.
- Customers are advised to refer to this Documentation when enabling new cloud service APIs after October 24, 2024
- Existing API integrations will continue to work as expected and no changes are required
