The following Trellix Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) software are now available:

- VM-series Sensors / vIPS 11.1.7.111 [VM5000, VM600]
- NS-Series Sensors 11.1.5.113 [NS9600, NS7600, NS3600, NS9500, NS9300, NS9200, NS9100, NS7500, NS7350, NS7300, NS7200, NS7250, NS7150, NS7100, NS5200, NS5100, NS3500, NS3200, NS3100]
- Controller / Probe 2.6.2 (AWS, Azure)
This release offers new capabilities including:
- Introduction of IPS NS9600 Appliance Series - High-end, powerful appliance series with increased port density and support for higher throughputs of 20, 40, 60 Gbps, scalable up to 120 Gbps (two NS9600 sensors)
- Support for DNS tunneling machine learning detections in NDR for lateral movement detections
- Support for SmartVision rules on IPS to detect weak indicators of compromise, with an ability to forward these events to NDR to detect post-infection activities
- AWS GWLB mirroring for vIPS - Operational simplicity using AWS Cloud by enabling mirroring in place of inline sensors and removing the need for agent probe or deployment
- Secure communication between the IPS Manager and Sensor using 4096 bit certificates
