As part of our commitment to empower our customers to safeguard their sensitive information more effectively on the cloud, Trellix is excited to announce the latest update release of Trellix Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Network Monitor and Trellix DLP Network Prevent version 11.10.700, which offers the following:
- REST API support to natively and seamlessly integrate with Trellix Email Security Cloud (ETP)
- Customers can use the REST APIs to integrate with their existing third-party cloud email and/or web security services.
- DLP Network Monitor and Prevent appliances as Amazon Machine Image (AMI) to be deployed on AWS EC2 Instances
- Trellix FQDN updates to support new Trellix IAM URLs
DLP SaaS Customers
To reduce false-positives and improve detection, we are also introducing a confidence threshold feature in manual registration in the upcoming DLP SaaS extension release (already available in On-Prem DLP). This allows customers to configure a pre-set percentage of fingerprints to be matched while scanning documents, compared with manually registered documents.
Note: This configuration is not compatible with NDLP 11.10.501 and earlier. While existing policies already deployed on the appliance will continue to work, any new policy push from ePO will be discarded. To address potential compatibility issues, please plan to upgrade NDLP appliances to 11.10.700 by January 15, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience.
