Trellix announces the End of Support (EOS) for Trellix Database Security 4.8.x and earlier (including all its updates, patches, and hotfixes).
Important:
- This announcement pertains to current Trellix Database Security product customers.
- Customer Success will offer best-effort technical support on versions 4.8.x and earlier till March 31, 2025.
- Code-fixes will not be supported.
- Trellix Database Security (formerly known as Database Activity Monitoring, Vulnerability Manager for Databases, and vPatch) 4.8.x and earlier will not be available on the Download Portal.
- A newer software with features and comparable OS and DBMS support is already available in version 10.1.
- To benefit from quality and security improvements, customers are advised to migrate to Database Security 10.1.
What products will be EOS and what are their replacements?
- Product stub: Trellix Database Security (formerly known as Database Activity Monitoring, Vulnerability Manager for Databases, and vPatch) 4.8.x and earlier (including all its updates, patches, and hotfixes)
