Trellix Email Security – Cloud (ETP-C) Commercial US, EU, CAN & APJ instances are to be notified for Outlook add-in changes by Microsoft affecting ETP-C. Customers using Trellix Outlook add-in need to apply the changes starting February 2025.

Currently, Trellix Outlook add-in relies on the Exchange identity token to verify the identity of users who are reporting emails. In upcoming releases alternate solutions will be made available.
Action Required: Admins are required to reenable the Exchange identity tokens using PowerShell until the required changes are available. For more information on reenabling the tokens see Microsoft article: Turn legacy Exchange Online tokens on or off.
