Deactivation of Config Audit Pod Security Policies (Deprecated)
As part of our commitment to staying current with Kubernetes best practices and leveraging its latest security features, we are initiating the deactivation and eventual removal of Pod Security Policies (PSPs) from the clusters.
Why this change?
- Kubernetes Deprecation and Removal: Pod Security Policies (PSPs) were officially deprecated in Kubernetes v1.21 and completely removed in Kubernetes v1.25. Continuing to rely on a deprecated and unsupported feature poses a future risk and prevents us from adopting the platform's native advancements.
- Minimizing False Positives: While PSPs are active, their implementation could sometimes lead to complexity and unintended blocks (false positives). We recommend deactivating these policies since they no longer are part of the policy evaluation workflow.
Next Steps and Support:
All customers must deactivate obsolete PSPs using these documented instructions. We are committed to a transparent and efficient transition that enhances your security posture without disrupting your day-to-day operations.
Microsoft OneDrive &SharePoint DLP (NRT) Migration to Graph APIs
As a follow-up to our initial communication dated May 29th, 2025, we have started batch-wise migration of all existing Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint DLP (Near real time) instances to the new Skyhigh API pipeline integrated with Microsoft Graph APIs by the end of this calendar year.
The Skyhigh Team will be reaching out to seek confirmation on your proposed migration date starting June 2025. If your Microsoft account does not have the necessary permissions, you will need to re-enable the API integration between Skyhigh and SharePoint/OneDrive.
For more details on the migration process and FAQ, please see the OneDrive and SharePoint Migration Documentation.
Please ignore this notification if your migration schedule has been set up.
