Trellix Email Security Cloud (ETP) Commercial US, EU, CAN, APJ, and Gov instances will be upgraded to Release 2025.3 beginning on July 21, 2025 and completing on Aug 11, 2025.
This release includes the following enhancements and updates:
- Notification of expiring licenses: Administrators will now receive portal alerts as their licenses approach expiration and enter a grace period.
- Enhanced Connect Rules UI: A streamlined user interface for Connect Rules offers an improved experience for managing and updating attributes.
- Custom Rules improvement: Custom Rules offer flexibility through the combination of "AND" and "OR" conditions, allowing for highly specific and tailored rule creation.
- Configurable spam threshold: Tailor your spam detection experience by selecting from various levels of spam filtering sensitivity.
- Bulk release for quarantined emails: Release more than 100 quarantined emails simultaneously, utilizing applied filters from the "Quarantine" section.
- Insights integration: Alerts are now enriched with intelligence from Trellix Insights, leading to improved investigation capabilities and a reduced Mean Time To Resolve (MTTR).
- Audit logs for IPv6 search: The audit logs under Manage > Administrators now support searching for IPv6 addresses.
- Improved Domain Provisioning Wizard: The Domain Provisioning Wizard now offers extended support for selecting additional policy types during domain provisioning.
- Customer bug fixes

For customers utilizing Microsoft 365 integration: Administrators are required to update permissions assigned to the registered Entra app. For specific guidance, see the Admin Guide 2025.3 under System Configuration > Configuring Authorization > Creating and registering an app.
