We are implementing a planned security certificate update on August 21, 2025. To ensure that you continue to receive critical security patches for your Trellix Database Security product, action may be required.
Please review the details below to see if you are impacted.
Who is impacted?
This change only affects customers running older versions of Trellix Database Security software.
- You ARE impacted if: You are using any version of Trellix Database Security prior to version 10.2.1.
- You are NOT impacted if: You are using Trellix Database Security 10.2.1. No action is needed.
What is the impact of inaction?
If your system is on a version prior to version 10.2.1, after August 21st, it will no longer be able to connect to our update server.
This means that your system will STOP receiving automatic security patches and product updates, potentially leaving it vulnerable.
What action is required?
If you are impacted, you must perform the following steps before August 21, 2025.
- Check your version: First, identify which version of Trellix Database Security you are running.
-
Take action (if needed)
- (Recommended) Upgrade: The best course of action is to upgrade to our latest version, Trellix Database Security 10.2.1. This ensures that you have the latest features and security protections.
- (Alternative) Manually configure: If you cannot upgrade at this time, you must follow the manual configuration steps outlined in our Knowledge Base article Error while accessing or downloading Trellix Database Security updates.
Need help?
We strongly recommend completing this process before August 19, 2025 to allow time for testing.
This update is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest security standards. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
