Trellix: Anti-Malware Engine 6820 Beta Now Available

The Trellix Anti-Malware Engine is the core component at the heart of the award-winning Trellix Endpoint and Gateway products. Using patented technology, the Engine analyzes potentially malicious code to detect and block Trojans, viruses, worms, adware, spyware, and other threats.

This release includes new features, new supported platforms, and resolved issues.

• Resolved issues: Includes several bug fixes and internal code improvements

Release schedule (subject to change) for the 6820 Engine

• Beta availability – September 22, 2025
• RTW – Early October 2025

Note: The release schedule mentioned above is for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems only. The Engine release for other supported operating systems will be done in future releases.
