Urgent Action Required: Complete Testing and Activation of Data Classification Policies
for CASB
June 2025 (Passed)
As previously communicated, we officially ended support for Data Identifiers and associated legacy content-based features (keywords, patterns/regular expressions, file name, file size, file type, and legacy EDM/IDM rules in CASB DLP) at the end of June 2025.
Key Information:
- End of Support (EOS) for Data Identifiers: End of June 2025: Post end-of-support, no new Data Identifier policies can be created, and no further enhancement requests around Data Identifiers will be accepted by Skyhigh unless they are service-affecting defects.
- Urgent Action: Please complete the testing of your cloned Data Classification policies and activate them immediately to ensure you are benefitting from a more robust DLP classification technology.

End of Life Announcement of Skyhigh Mobile Cloud Security (SMCS) Application

We would also take the opportunity to announce the End of Life (EOL) of the legacy Skyhigh Mobile Cloud Security (SMCS) application.
The SMCS application will be End of Life (EOL) on 31st January 2026.
Existing customers of the SMCS application are advised to use the already released Skyhigh Client v4.0.0.
