Trellix IVX - Cloud instances in all regions will be upgraded to Release 25R4. The upgrade process is scheduled to begin on October 27, 2025, at 07:00 UTC and is expected to finish by October 31, 2025, at 07:00 UTC.
This upgrade is designed to be seamless, requiring no service or portal downtime, which ensures uninterrupted services for all users.
This new release delivers significant enhancements in security, performance, and capabilities, including:
- Content Disarm & Reconstruction (CDR) integration: Enhances threat protection for sensitive workflows by integrating CDR. This feature uses a zero-trust approach to disarm and reconstruct files, eliminating malicious content and providing an extra layer of defense against sophisticated threats. This requires an additional license.
- Selective Dynamic Analysis: Optimizes resource use and speeds up threat detection. This intelligent feature allows dynamic analysis to be configured only for truly unknown samples. If signature based detection identifies a sample as malicious, dynamic analysis is bypassed, saving submission quota and delivering faster results.
- Increased File Size Support: The maximum file size for static analysis has been significantly increased to 1024 MB (1 GB), enabling comprehensive security checks on larger files. Dynamic analysis continues to support files up to 100 MB, broadening the scope of files that can be thoroughly scrutinized for potential threats.
- Improved Data Download Capability: Customers can now download up to one million submissions and alert records in a single CSV file.
- Improved Detection: IVX Cloud is now updated with the latest version of its dynamic analysis engine, improving detection capabilities for enhanced performance.
- Guest Image Customization changes: This update streamlines the Guest Images (GI) Options in the portal by removing the Skype account input field.
- Customer bug fixes
