for Secure Web Gateway
September 30 - December 31, 2025
Skyhigh SWG D Series appliances will reach End-of-Life (EOL) this year. After this, the appliance will no longer receive updates or support, which may leave your network vulnerable to security gaps, performance issues, and compliance risks. The EOL Schedule is as follows:
| Product | Version | End-of-Life (EOL) Date |
| Secure Web Gateway | WBG-4500-D | December 31, 2025 |
| Secure Web Gateway | WBG-5000-D | September 30, 2025 |
| Secure Web Gateway | WBG-5500-D | September 30, 2025 |
To ensure your organization's security remains uncompromised, upgrade to the F Series appliance – designed for increased performance, stronger security, and to maintain compliance.

Urgent Action Required: Complete Testing and Activation of Data Classification Policies
for CASB
June 2025 - Passed
As previously communicated, we officially ended support for Data Identifiers and associated legacy content-based features (keywords, patterns/regular expressions, file name, file size, file type, and legacy EDM/IDM rules in CASB DLP) at the end of June 2025.
Key Information:
- End of Support (EOS) for Data Identifiers: End of June 2025: Post end-of-support, no new Data Identifier policies can be created, and no further enhancement requests around Data Identifiers will be accepted by Skyhigh unless they are service-affecting defects.
- Urgent Action: Please complete the testing of your cloned Data Classification policies and activate them immediately to ensure you are benefitting from a more robust DLP classification technology.
For policies that require manual migration, we have provided a step by step migration guide (click here ) with a comprehensive comparison of data identifiers with classifications.

End of Support Update: Legacy Data Identifiers features in CASB DLP - Important Update for Gov Cloud Customers
For CASB
June 30, 2026
We are writing to provide an important update to the End of Support dates for our legacy DLP Data Identifiers. We have extended the support timeline for our Gov Cloud customers until June 30, 2026.
This extended support timeline allows the completion of the transition of your tenant to an IAM-based login in Gov Cloud. This is a pre-requisite for the adoption of classifications which replace legacy DLP Data Identifiers.
Please reach out to your account representative or Skyhigh support to start with your IAM login transition.
Following the completion of IAM login transition, the migration away from legacy DLP Data Identifiers can begin. We encourage you to migrate in good time before the extended deadline to allow time for testing. Policies can be either migrated manually by your own teams, or Skyhigh can help by automatically cloning your existing policies to create copies using classifications.
