Upgrade to Cloud Service Infrastructure
for CASB

September 1, 2025 - Passed

We are writing to inform you of an important upgrade to our cloud service infrastructure. To enhance performance, scalability, and security, we are migrating our CASB API-based services to a new infrastructure.

All Cloud Service Provider (CSP) instances you manage through Skyhigh will be seamlessly transferred without requiring any action on your part. This transition will begin on September 1, 2025, with no downtime.

If your CSP utilizes IP allow list settings or IP restrictions, please add the necessary IP addresses to ensure Skyhigh CASB can continue to access CSP APIs and function correctly.

We are confident that this upgrade will significantly enhance your experience with our services.

Updated timeline for Auto-Upgrade of the Tenants to the New Web Policy Builder Interface
for Secure Web Gateway for Cloud

November 10, 2025

Skyhigh SWG for Cloud customers who have not been able to upgrade to the new Web Policy Builder Interface by August 30, 2025, will now be automatically upgraded. This upgrade is expected to be seamless. Starting November 13, 2025, the auto-upgrade process will begin for Customer Tenants to the New Web Policy Interface and will be completed in different phases by December 15, 2025.

The New Web Policy Builder Interface allows for complex policy creation using simplified workflows – including the configuration of rules and rule sets using criteria, operators, values, and more.

Content Security Reporter (CSR) v2.9.4 Release
for Secure Web Gateway

Skyhigh is excited to announce the upcoming release of a new update for the Content Security Reporter (CSR). This new version will be CSR v2.9.4 & will be available from November 19th, 2025 onwards.

This update of the Content Security Reporter (CSR) consists of a number of Enhancements such as Support for ePO update 6 and also provides support for IPv6 Traffic as well. Apart from the above mentioned enhancements, this release also addresses Vulnerabilities as well.

The Release Notes will be available on Nov 19, 2025. We will share the release notes after November 19 in the next Skyhigh Connect.


Skyhigh Client v5.0 
for windows platform

Skyhigh is excited to announce the upcoming general availability (GA) of Skyhigh Client v5.0, the next-generation endpoint Client, starting with Windows.

The new Skyhigh Client offers improved policy management, supporting multiple gateways and custom Client profiles per policy, alongside a new endpoint UI for better visibility.

Key Benefits & Feature Highlights:

• Intelligent Traffic Routing through Advanced Policy Management.
• Supports Multiple Gateways improving fault tolerance.
• Redesigned Skyhigh Client Management UI enables admins to customize Client profiles for greater security and threat protection.

Important Information:

• Trellix ePO SaaS & MDM customers are advised to disable the Client auto-update for production environments as this release version does NOT support auto-upgrade.

Skyhigh Mobile Client v4.1.0
for Android and iOS platforms

Skyhigh is excited to announce the release of Skyhigh Mobile Client v4.1.0, the latest version of its mobile app, now available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple iOS App Store.

In this release, Skyhigh has improved the VPN stability, flexibility, administrative control and security.

What’s New in This Release:

• Enhanced VPN stability on Android for improved reliability & security.
• Ability to enable / disable Factory Reset option using MDM for greater control & device security (iOS and Android).
• Allows admins to manage VPN disconnect option directly from MDM (Android).
• Support import of P12 certificate files to configure IPsec Connections (Android) for enhanced authentication security.
• Enable minimal OPG access option for secure, limited access to enterprise private apps when required (Android).
• Instantly change user profile on Android using the UI without restarting the app.
