We are pleased to announce the availability of Trellix Agent (TA) 5.8.5 (On-Prem).
It is our recommendation to update to this release at your earliest convenience to ensure the best protection.
This release includes enhancements and resolved issues:

Enhancements
- Support for fapolicyd security framework
- Enhanced Single System Troubleshooting feature on ePO (On-Prem) to collect logs of other point products such as Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security for Windows, and Drive Encryption.
- VS 2022 migration for TA
- Msgbuscertupdater package includes ml_cacerts.cer with new license manager certificates to ensure compatibility with Trellix point products and services
- TA command-line option for VDI mode status in output for Windows systems
- Command-line option (-m) to verify signatures of Trellix binaries for message bus communication with TA
- Upgraded library versions

TA 5.8.5 (SaaS) deployment across all regions is scheduled during December 3–10th, 2025.
