Trellix: Intrusion Prevention System 11.1 Update 10 Software Release Now Available

The following Trellix Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) software are now available:

  • IPS Manager / Central Manager – 11.1.7.153 [Windows and TRFEOS]
  • Non-certification NS-series Sensors – 11.1.5.151 [NS9600, NS9500, NS9300, NS9200, NS9100, NS7600, NS7500, NS7350, NS7250, NS7150, NS5200, NS5100, NS3600, NS3500, NS3200, NS3100]  
  • Virtual IPS Sensors – 11.1.7.152 [VM 5000, VM 600]
  • Controller / Probe – 2.7.2 [AWS, Azure]

This release includes new features and enhancements:

  • New features 
    • High-performance IPS Manager appliance: The new IPS Manager appliance hardware provides faster, more reliable configuration and high-throughput handling.
       
    • Stable and secure platform: IPS Manager OS migrated to TROS (AlmaLinux), ensuring a secure, long-term foundation for your deployment. 
       
  • Enhancements 
    • Advanced detection: Support for STIX allows integrating third-party feeds to boost detection accuracy.
       
    • IPv6 ready: Full platform support on pure IPv6 environment to meet regulatory compliance and advanced network requirements.
       
    • Focus on threats: Alert throttling minimizes notification noise, helping your Security team focus on the most critical events.
