On Monday, January 19, 2026, deployment in production content of an updated utility to resolve a missing service dependency in Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) Threat Prevention will start. The utility will be fully deployed on Thursday, January 22, 2026. The updated utility will address an issue introduced by a previous content update in December 2025, where the ENS Storage Protection service (mfedsp.exe) was in a stopped state after the update completed.
