Trellix: New Features and Enhancements Now Available for Trellix DLP SaaS Across Endpoint, Discover, and Network Solutions

We are pleased to announce that the following product releases are now available:

  • Trellix Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Endpoint Complete - SaaS 11.14
  • DLP Discover - SaaS 11.11
  • NDLP - SaaS 11.11.100

These releases introduce new features and enhancements for Endpoint, Discover, and Network SaaS products that improve support for modern network infrastructure, expand options for user directory integrations, create seamless integrations with major web browsers, and enhance both performance and user experience.

New features for DLP Endpoint and Discover solutions

  • IPv6 support: 
    Ability to comply with federal mandates and modernize your network with support for IPv4, IPv6 (new), and dual-stack configurations. (DLP Endpoint Complete for Windows / macOS and DLP Discover)  
  • Seamless web content inspection API:
    Extends the benefits of our enhanced DLP browser data inspection capabilities to your Microsoft Edge for Business, Mozilla Firefox, and Island browsers. (DLP Endpoint Complete Windows)
    Previously only available for Chrome Enterprise.  
  • Advanced visual labeling: For Microsoft Office and Outlook, additional customization options are now available, including border styling, font customization, and the addition of dual-classification for labels to improve the user and administrative experience when manually classifying documents. (DLP Endpoint Complete Windows)
     
  • ARM64 support: Ensures compatibility across your full enterprise with native support for Windows devices equipped with ARM64 compatible processors. (DLP Endpoint Complete Windows) 
    Previously only available for on-premises.  
  • Dark mode: ePolicy Orchestrator - SaaS user interface for DLP is now available in an optional dark mode to enhance user experience and reduce potential eye strain.

Enhancements for DLP Network Prevent and Monitor 11.11.100

This maintenance release includes several improvements for DLP Network Prevent and Monitor, including Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) integration enhancements and support for Fiber Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Network Interface Card (NIC).

Note: This update also deprecates McAfee File System (MFS) on DLP Extension.

    Note: This extension is required to access all the new features listed across the other component releases

  • DLP Discover - SaaS 11.11
  • Network Prevent and Monitor - SaaS 11.11.100

    Note: Installation of this version requires a critical planned maintenance window (up to 3 hours) for the necessary PostgreSQL database upgrade.
