DE - SaaS 8.1.0 now includes the following enhancements:
-
FIPS 140-2 support: To meet the compliance standards of government agencies and regulated industries, we have introduced FIPS 140-2 validated cryptography within our DE - SaaS environments. This ensures that your data encryption meets federal security requirements for protecting sensitive information without the need for on-premises infrastructure.
-
Fine-tuning of TPM Autoboot sensitivity: Reduce or eliminate the need for helpdesk intervention through granular control over TPM Autoboot sensitivity. Fine-tune your security policy by selecting specific Platform Configuration Registers (PCRs) to monitor, striking the right balance between security and end user experience.
-
Seamless upgrade from Standard Autoboot to TPM Autoboot: Simplify the rollout of enhanced security using TPM Autoboot by removing the need for end user intervention when switching from Standard Autoboot.
- Enriched activation failure messages: Activation failures due to a lack of Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) system partition space now provide more detailed error messages with actionable guidance on how to resolve the situation.
