The Trellix Anti-Malware Scan Engine is the core component at the heart of the Trellix Endpoint and Gateway products. Using patented technology, the Engine analyzes potentially malicious code to detect and block Trojans, viruses, worms, adware, spyware, and other threats.
This notice announces the availability of a new maintenance update to the current Scan Engine and Command Line Scanner (CLS). It sets out important information about the download options and release plan for this update.

- Multiple bug fixes and internal code improvements

- Switched to native STL implementation for enhanced security and memory reliability
- Extended VHD support to EFI partitions
- Implemented SHA384 support for improved signature verification
- Integrated additional capabilities for Excel files
- Optimized system performance and resolved bug fixes
Note: This release is for Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms only. SDKs for additional supported platforms will be released in the coming weeks.
