We are reaching out to provide updated recommendations regarding product patches. We are prioritizing infrastructure hardening and product security, which includes applying an enhanced security baseline and focusing on remediation where appropriate and in line with industry best practices.
Over the coming weeks, we will be issuing patches for a number of on-premises products as part of our ongoing efforts to harden our infrastructure and product security. We recommend customers apply relevant updates as they become available for the following products:
- DLP Extensions
- NDLP
- DLP Windows
- TDE
- DB Security
- ePO On-Prem
- IPS
- NX
- PX
- HX
- NDR
For customers using ePO On-Prem, IPS Sensor, IPS Manager, NX, PX, HX, and NDR products, we also recommend reviewing and implementing the controls outlined in our ‘Best Practice Guides’ while patches are being released.
Patches will also be issued for additional products, and we recommend applying these updates as they become available.
For Trellix cloud services, no customer action is required to apply relevant patches. We are implementing additional security enhancements across these environments, and updates for our cloud services will be managed directly by Trellix.
To maintain the strongest security posture, we recommend all customers update to the latest versions of our products as soon as patches become available. We will continue to provide notifications regarding specific patch releases and any recommended additional actions as appropriate.
We appreciate your patience and continued partnership. If you have any questions or require technical assistance, please reach out to your account team or Trellix Support.
