Skyhigh Security has released an update to its Skyhigh Client v5.0, i.e., Skyhigh Client v5.0.1 HF for Windows.
Skyhigh Client v5.0.1 HotFix (HF) resolves critical issues related to connectivity, traffic redirection, and Private Access, improving stability and security. It continues to offer improved policy management, supporting multiple gateways, custom client profiles per policy, and a new client UI for better visibility and more.

Skyhigh Security has released an update to its Skyhigh Client v5.0, i.e., Skyhigh Client v5.0.1 HF for Windows.
Skyhigh Client v5.0.1 HotFix (HF) resolves critical issues related to connectivity, traffic redirection, and Private Access, improving stability and security. It continues to offer improved policy management, supporting multiple gateways, custom client profiles per policy, and a new client UI for better visibility and more.
Important Issues Resolved in SC v5.0.1 HF:
- Improved reliability of your secure connection, ensuring your connection stays active and stable even when the client resumes from sleep mode, reducing the likelihood of unexpected disconnections.
- The client now correctly opens only a single window for Private Access SAML authentication (instead of multiple windows previously), providing a smoother login experience.
- Resolves an issue where the client incorrectly intercepted SRV record queries for Private Access applications. These queries will now bypass SC and route directly to the system DNS for proper resolution.
- Client configuration now extends the connection timeout from 2 minutes to 15 minutes for all connections. This prevents premature disconnects and improves stability for Private Access SSH protocol sessions and more.
