Trellix Email Security - Cloud Commercial US, EU, CAN, APJ, and Gov instances will be upgraded to Release 2026.2 beginning on July 15, 2026 at 07:00 UTC and completing on August 3, 2026 at 10:00 UTC.
Note: This upgrade does not require any service or portal downtime.

- Option for specifying release justification during quarantine release
Administrators and end users can provide a reason for releasing emails from quarantine. This improves audit tracking. - Allow searching of audit logs
Administrators now have the ability to view and search tenant wide audit logs through the Administrators' tab. - Dashboard V2 enhancements
Enhanced the new beta dashboards by adding new widgets. The following three widgets have been introduced in the New Dashboard tab:- DMARC reports
- Campaign activity
- Threat source
- Configure quarantine reports for out-of-band domains
- Domains set as out-of-band (OOB) mode can now associate Quarantine Reports for outbound mail flow.
- Domains set as out-of-band (OOB) mode can now associate Quarantine Reports for outbound mail flow.
- Automatic purging of inactive users in Users tab
End users that are inactive for more than six months are automatically removed from the Users tab to maintain a more manageable user list.
- Detections related to password-protected attachments in email:
A fix to address detection gaps in certain cases where password-protected files inside archives were not being detected as Riskware
Note: In this release, all alert v1 endpoints under /api/v1/alerts that reached end of support on March 31, 2026 will be decommissioned.
