This notification is to advise you regarding the upcoming cessation of content support—specifically AMCore, DAT signature, Exploit Prevention updates—for legacy versions of Endpoint Security (ENS). Effective October 31, 2026, content updates (AMCore, DAT signature updates and Exploit Prevention) will no longer be provided for the following versions of ENS: 10.5.x and 10.6.x.
Background
ENS 10.5.x reached End of Life (EOL) in November 2020 and version 10.6.x reached EOL in December 2023. To maintain the highest security standards and focus engineering resources on modern Trellix-branded technologies, content support for these versions will be discontinued.
After the October 31, 2026 deadline, systems remaining on these unsupported versions will no longer receive signature updates. This will result in significantly reduced malware coverage and increased exposure to security vulnerabilities. We recommend customers to upgrade Trellix-branded versions (such as ENS 10.7.x) before the effective date to ensure continued protection and a predictable support lifecycle.
