Key Feature Highlights in Skyhigh Security 7.1.0 (NEW)
June 23, 2026
We are excited to share the key features included in the Skyhigh Security 7.1.0 release:
- Skyhigh DSPM - Sanctioned Policyless Scanning: Skyhigh DSPM is now able to automatically classify and categorize sensitive data uploaded to sanctioned SaaS services, even when DLP policies are not configured. This helps uncover sensitive data in sanctioned services that are not actively monitored by DLP policies, flag risks, eliminate blind spots, and improve the organization’s data security posture. For more details, see Integrated Policyless Data Discovery for NRT-based Events.
- Skyhigh SWG (Cloud) - Nested Function Support: Nested Function Support in the Mowgli-based policy engine enables administrators to create advanced, granular policies within the cloud framework. It provides greater flexibility to adapt policies to complex business use cases while maintaining a consistent experience across cloud and on-prem environments. The intuitive UI simplifies management and improves operational efficiency and adoption. For more details, see Configure Nested Functions for Complex Rules.
-
Skyhigh PA - Automated DNS Resolution for Accessing Domain Services: Automated DNS Resolution enables secure remote access to critical domain services such as Kerberos, LDAP, and SMB/CIFS without manual configuration. The Skyhigh Client intelligently forwards DNS requests through PA connectors, enforcing identity-based Zero Trust policies while preventing broad network exposure. This capability reduces IT effort and supports enterprise-scale remote deployments. For more details, see Automated DNS Resolution for Accessing Domain Services.

Directory Services Auto Migration (Limited Availability) (NEW)
Skyhigh has released exciting new features to enable a user-centric risk view and investigation workflow. These features include:
- User risk calculated based on incidents, anomalies, threats, and activities.
- Enhanced UEBA that works across sanctioned and unsanctioned cloud services.
- A unified view of all users and their risk, along with investigation workflows.
To deliver these new capabilities and provide a single unified view of user risk and activity across all sanctioned and unsanctioned applications, Skyhigh needs to perform a refresh of your Directory Service data. This will give you access to centralized directory management capabilities with improved directory service handling and data management (including updates and deletions).
The Directory Service refresh is performed automatically during your regular Cloud Connector upgrade. No manual action is required, and your existing configurations, user groups, policies, and other entities are preserved throughout the migration.
